Photo Preparation Guide for Babydoll Dance AI

Choose a clear full-body photo for Babydoll Dance AI. Check framing, lighting, JPG/PNG file requirements and common upload problems before generating.

Last updated: 2026-10-22

A good Babydoll dance video starts with a photo that makes the person easy to see. The generator uses your image for appearance and a prepared dance reference for movement. Clear hands, visible shoes and a little space around the body give it more useful information to work with.

This guide covers the current single-person generator. Ready to make a video? Follow the step-by-step generation tutorial or open the generator.

Quick check: one consenting adult, full body in frame, even light, JPG or PNG, no larger than 8 MB.

1. Leave room around the whole body

Keep the top of the head, both hands and both feet inside the image. Leave a visible margin above the hair, beside the arms and below the shoes. A relaxed standing pose with arms slightly away from the torso is usually easier to read than a tightly folded pose.

Framing illustration, not an AI result. The dashed green frame leaves a margin around the head, hands and shoes. Avoid a crop that removes the feet.

Avoid close-up selfies and waist-up portraits for this full-body routine. Making a cropped photo larger does not restore missing legs or hands. If you have a wider original, use it; otherwise, take a new full-body photo. The current generator does not include a photo-expansion tool.

2. Use one person and a simple setting

Choose a photo of one adult who agreed to be animated. Group photos, people in the background and full-length mirrors can introduce extra faces or limbs. A plain wall, an uncluttered room or an open outdoor setting makes the subject easier to distinguish.

Keep hands out of pockets and avoid holding a large bag, furniture or another person in front of the body. Try to separate the arms and legs visually. Very dark clothing against a dark background can hide their outlines.

You do not need to photograph a dance pose. Your photo supplies the appearance; the prepared Babydoll clip supplies the intended motion. There is no need to upload your own dance video or write a prompt.

3. Make the face and clothing easy to see

Use soft daylight or even indoor lighting. Face the light rather than standing in front of a bright window. Check that the eyes, jawline, hands and clothing edges are visible without deep shadows.

Prefer a sharp original photo over a screenshot from a social app. Heavy beauty filters, motion blur and repeated compression remove detail. Sunglasses, a hand across the face or hair covering most of the face can also make the likeness less reliable. A clearer photo helps, but it cannot guarantee exact facial detail or perfect motion.

4. Check the upload requirements

  • Format: JPG/JPEG or PNG. Convert HEIC, WebP and other formats before uploading; changing the filename extension alone is not conversion.
  • File size: up to 8 MB. If the file is larger, export a smaller copy while keeping the face and body clear.
  • Dimensions: both width and height must be greater than 340 pixels. A sharp portrait photo such as 720 × 1280 pixels is a useful starting point, not a required size.
  • Shape: the accepted width-to-height ratio is 0.4–2.5. Very tall strips and very wide panoramas are rejected. Portrait framing suits the vertical dance reference.

Do not upscale a tiny image just to pass the dimension check. It adds pixels without recovering real detail. Use a higher-resolution original whenever possible.

5. Review the preview before generating

After choosing your file, check the local preview: is there one person, is the face clear, and are the hands and shoes visible? If not, replace the photo before submitting. Selecting a photo does not start a paid generation.

Confirm the photo-permission checkbox only when you have the necessary consent. Starting generation uploads the photo to the AI provider. Avoid confidential images and read the privacy policy for storage and processing details.

Common photo problems

My phone photo will not upload

Check the actual format and file size first. iPhone photos may be HEIC; export a JPEG or PNG copy. If the file is already supported, check its dimensions and aspect ratio, then try the original file rather than a messenger thumbnail.

The generated hands, feet or face look wrong

Compare the source photo with the result. Cropped shoes, hidden fingers, overlapping limbs and a blurry face give the model less information. Try a clearer full-body photo with more space around the subject. AI can still introduce artifacts even with a suitable image.

Can I use a group photo or add a second person?

The current generator is designed for one person per video. Crop to one consenting adult only if you can keep the full body and enough surrounding space; otherwise use a different photo.
